Longdon
Longdon is the O gauge club layout. It is a fixed layout occupying the entire length of one side of the clubhouse. Being O gauge this layout is an end-to-end as the other gauge club members won't allow us to convert into a tail-chaser!
Longdon is actually a through station approx two-thirds of the way down. The top end is a junction station with a wagon works on a siding. This station is yet to be named. Halfway down is a small MPD (Steam era) with a canal for coal delivery. The far end of the layout is approached by a scissor crossover. At present this is mainly used for stock siding but new ideas for it's use are always welcome.
