DUDLEY FREY The layout is generally operated by six members and transport within two member’s cars though we have on occasion gone out to exhibitions with the Society's Tedburn St Mary layout in which case the transport has been in a long wheel based van. Insurance value for exhibition purposes is £12,000
Although Dudley Frey is generally thought of as a steam era layout there is nothing to stop modern image being used, in fact, on one two day exhibition modern image was operated on one day and the next day steam. The siting of the layout is loose as current 'n' gauge members interests vary from Great Western, to Southern and Midland.
